The perfect marketing strategy balances creativity with data, analysis and logic. Without a story, your brand has no meaning. Without data, it has no direction. I use my marketing and design expertise to set budgets for campaigns, organize promotional events for projects and encourage brand uniformity across marketing initiatives. I have also created logos, packaging designs and forms of content like blog posts and social media posts when needed.
As a brand manager, I wear many hats. The tasks that I deal with on any given day include:
- Developing custom marketing and advertising strategies
- Creating designs and layouts for media outlets
- Writing pitches, blog posts and articles
- Making decisions about the cost of branding and analyzing trends
- Overseeing social media accounts and ensure brand consistency
- Conducting meetings with clients
- Overseeing marketing staff
All these tasks require me to have a certain set of skills that I’ve built and developed over my years of experience:
- Creative thinking
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical thinking
- Strong leadership and project management
- Product packaging and market knowledge
- Great multitasking and delegating
- Organization and responsibility
- Collaboration and teamwork
